Greater Works Praise Team
We strive to offer an excellent standard of praise and worship by practicing and developing our vocal and instrumental abilities to usher in the presence of the Lord.
  • Praise - To celebrate God’s love, mercies and blessings
  • Worship - To create an environment where one can enter the presence of the Lord.
  • Minister - To communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach the lost.
Psalm 47:1 – Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy.
Psalm 33:3 – Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with LOUD shouts.
Psalm 150:5 – Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with LOUD clashing cymbals.

The Praise Team Ministry exists to glorify God through prayer, praise, worship, instrumental music, songs, hymns, audio and visual production, performing and serving skillfully, with discipline and humility, leading our congregation and creating an environment of worship by ushering in the Presence of God. We entire activities aim at leading people into God's presence. Members of Praise and Worship Ministry anchors the time allotted for praise and exuberant songs, and lead others into deeper worship or singing in the Spirit.

To Traditional and Contemporary Gospel singing, we praise and worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Come and join us on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm for Praise and Worship practice and a great worship experience.

Motto "Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ." Col. 3: 23

Our ushers welcome the people of Grace and provide them with the information and materials they need to enjoy and benefit from the worship service and to help.

The Ministry of Church Ushering is a sacred and powerful responsibility. A Church Usher helps the Pastor by making sure all members and guests are greeted warmly and by doing what is necessary to put guests in the right frame of mind for worship. The purpose of the ushering and protocol unit of the church is to help everyone that comes into our church have an impactful and refreshing worship experience, and also to joyfully minister the love of Christ to all while ensuring orderliness and rendering top-notch service to all without discrimination.

We welcome you to be apart of the Greater Works Ushering Team!

Proposed to Praise GWC Prophetic Adult & Jr. Dance Ministry
Psalms 149:3-4 Let them praise His name with the dance. Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people. He will beautify the humble with Salvation.

Objective

What we do: We dance to celebrate, worship, and praise God through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Movement has power to stir the senses and emotions and convey a message that cannot be expressed through words alone, so our ministry interprets selected songs to express God's messages to His people.

Purpose

Praise dance, as a ministry grace, is simply an expression of movement used to communicate with God and to communicate God's heart to His people. It is the sight of God's message. It communicates the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that may not be received or understood through the hearing of the Gospel.

Goal

Our goal as a ministry is to praise the Lord through dance and touch the lives of others by impacting their situations in a positive way. We also strive to draw in our peers so that they may be inspired to be used by God.

Our Guidance: (Scriptures)

Psalm 149: 2-3 - Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance

II Samuel 6:14 - David danced before the Lord with all his might.

II Samuel 22:4 - I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.

Psalm 149:3-4 - Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.
